Rotary Die Cutting Machine Operator
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Seal & Design Inc, a manufacturer and distributor of O-rings and industrial sealing products, is looking for a rotary die cutting machine operator to produce product to customers specifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review the router for correct material, tooling and delivery date
• Work with additional die cutting and converting equipment
• Set-up press with the proper tooling and depth of cut
• Perform first piece cut, in process inspection
• Run the job according to instruction
• Record accurate times in MRP system for each job performed
• Follow work instructions for each area of the fabrication department
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong computer skills. Experience in the set-up and operation of rotary die cutting machines, mechanical drawing, and blue print reading. Auto-Cad experience and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sit or stand up to 8 hours. Lift up to 80 lbs, four times daily. Pull up to 80 lbs, four times daily. Carry, grasp, reach, and see color variations.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma. Prefer an Associate Degree in a manufacturing/technical discipline.
