Job Information

TitleTrade Compliance / Purchasing Associate

NEW POSITION!  The Trade Compliance/Purchasing Associate will provide administrative  support to the purchasing and logistics team and act as liaison with suppliers, purchasing and sales ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements with our customers. 

  • Assists in set up and maintenance of import/export compliance processes
  • Solicits annual supplier USMCA certificates
  • Prepares customer USMCA, FTA or SLI certificates on request and/or as required
  • Prepares and verifies weekly intercompany, cross-border export documents
  • Verifies and processes PO confirmations (ERP System / Web Based Supplier Portal)
  • Updates supplier price lists
  • Reviews and processes transfer orders between plants
  • Provides general support to team as required
HoursFull time, Monday – Friday


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and 1-3 years purchasing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency working in a computer supported environment using business software and Microsoft office programs
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and units of measure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ambitious culture
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Familiarity with international import/export procedures, a plus!
